I’m not rich

Ok i feel the need to blog about this.

Yes, I’m current having 2 bikes.
1st bike, I’m selling off between S$2.3K-$2.5K
2nd bike(new bike), I’ve deposit S$1.5K.
From the amount I earned from selling my 1st bike, I’ll pay back the S$1.5K that i loan. Yes, Loan.
So am I rich?

I’ve a couple of bank accounts. 1 of the bank account is for my sideline: videography and web design services. I’ll use it to purchase expenses and deposit earning. I’ve invested heavily on both sideline. Around S$7++k used just on videography itself.  And recently I’ve to purchase a back up camera. It’s a Need. Not just a hobby. Total spend on my videography sideline alone: S$9++K to S$10K. Meaning S$9++K to S$10K of savings is used.
Total earning so far: S$6+K in less than a year
I still have not earn any profit from my videography sideline. Got it? So am I rich?

Even my mum thinks that I’m rich even though I’ve explained and educate my family on the topic ‘rich’, ‘stable’, ‘investment’…  Let’s not go there..
-_-!

COE prices went up on 2nd half of Feb 2012

Article: http://sg.news.yahoo.com/blogs/singaporescene/sky-high-coe-prices-push-consumers-toward-used-091402363.html

Yes, went up again but consider myself lucky. I bought it 2 weeks before the price increased. Alhamdulillah.

SYM Joyride 200i Evo
On the road (incl COE, road tax, insurance, interest, IU unit, box, free gifts): S$8+k

Back up camera

From my previous post, i was already complaining on the low monthly cashflow. To make matter worst, i Need to invest heavily on a camera & lens this month. Yes i Need a back up camera if i wanna do wedding videography.

Actually i’m about to cover back the amount invested from my previous purchase; dslr, bags, accessories & macbook; $7000++
Now i need to spend another $2000+
On top of that, i’ve yet to spend on my wedding videography’s website, hosting, domain name, namecards and advertisement on Majalah Perkahwinan..

Whatever i’m earning, is to cover back the cost. i have not start saving =\

Low monthly cashflow

With new commitments starting March, monthly cashflow is very very very low.. What I’m very worried is the doodads. It’s beyond my control :/

With less than $600, i’ve to deal with doodads & food

The theory is right, as u grow older, your expenses increase..

Survey on bikes

I’m supposed to do my research on vespa but I can’t help it when i see all the sports bikes <3<3

Reality starts once you’re married.

Scenario #1:
A couple stays at the husband’s parents place. He earns quite a good sum and has 3 young children. His wife leave early for work and return home at 9pm instead of 7pm, when all the children are much settled down from school and evening shower. She ordered her maid to be at her parent’s place instead of looking over her children here. So who take care of the children from morning till 9pm? The husband’s mum and his younger sister. The wife just concentrate on her life, her career.

Scenario #2:
A couple in love. The guy was very hardworking and has stable job. Got married in a couple of month. After wedding, he started to be lazy and work less.
Now; divorced. His ex-wife is claiming ‘nafkah’.

Scenario #3:
The bride-to-be, asked for $14,000 dowry.
The wedding was called-off. Period.

_____

Hosnestly, I’m afraid to get married.
